wonderful surprise cruise
my brother and I booked this cruise a year ago. once on board and able to get to the room we had t-shirts on our door. I thought they were from carnival since there was a note (looked legit)..I get a text from our parents that said "where's Waldo" and noticed my mom was wearing the tshirt along with my dad and I recognized the top from the red frog bar. I told my brother...omg!!! mom and dad are on board!!! after 10 minutes of trying to find them since they kept moving, we found them. we were so surprised.especially since we found out it was my dad's idea (he likes cruising, but he can take it or leave it), it's really not like him to drop money like that, and REALLY not like him to drive in Miami (they live in ocala fl) they apparently booked in September and kept it a secret from the ENTIRE family (cousins, aunts, uncles, grandma etc) it was great surprise and a wonderful and fun family vacation.

traveled with a friend that hasn't sailed on carnival in about 15 years and has sailed rcl 4-5 times... she told me, she's never going back to rcl. to say she had a great time is an understatement and she already booked us on another one for April

great cruise, amazing staff, lots of fun. never had an issue finding lounge chairs, food was great and the drinks were fantastic

our first morning the entire ship lost power, for only about 15 minutes and was quickly restored. I was really excited about it lol. everything was great and the food was better than I expected

we had a great time. only complaint is how RUDE other guests were. we would be the only 4 waiting for an elevator, and people would cut in front of us and push us out of the way to get on first. so many rude people

wasn't impressed. boarding started late, but that wasn't their fault, came in a bit late due to fog, but we were on board by 1pm, it was a mess though since everyone was there at once.
food was ok. didn't care for the main dining room having to put an x by the food we wanted, so it wasn't like they took our order. kind of weird for the dining room. o'sheenans (I think that's what it was) was awful, very disappointing, buffet was better.
room was smaller than anything I had on carnival, but didn't care, just used it to sleep in
very disappointed that they told us we were no longer able to occupy the deck chairs outside after 4pm, figure that one out,we were pissed. they never came around like they do on rcl or carnival asking if we wanted bar service, we always had to get it ourselves.
great stirrup cay, wasn't anything great, half moon is much prettier.

Carnival Paradise
it's a small older ship so itv doesn't have many restaurants or other things, but that's what I love about it
it's beautiful and fun if you go to a beach, but beware, you MUST get your temperature taken and must wear a mask at all times even walking down the street and pier outside

go get a chocolate shake and ask for a shot of Irish cream
beautiful beaches!!
Carnival Victory
sail on her before they change her over. it was my 3rd time on the victory and has always been my favorite as far as interior design
