Reflection 2023

I can’t speak for all of Celebrities ships or cruises, but this was primarily adults and a very mature vibe which suited us. It was really fun but not an amusement park or rager party.

Smaller/older ship but very good

Food: MDR we thought was very good and My Time is way to go but be sure to clarify reservation times. If you want to sit as a family you can but be sure to arrange that. Windjammer is college dorm cafeteria- don't expect the finest but rather a basic buffet that serves its purpose. Food in Solarium is light and good but limited hours.

Deck: Main pool is small and crowded. Indoor pool was crowded too. Top deck (10) is best place for sea days. Nice breeze and view.

Bar Service: Can't fault the effort of the crew, they work hard and will take care of you but understaffed. Hours of operation vary but if you like quiet the Viking Crown is a great escape.

Ports: Key West is nice and it is easy on and off the ship and a variety of things to do. Grand Cayman is an awesome beach! If that is what you like cabs are right there and $4/person takes you there. We decided a late breakfast and missed the crowds and lines and got right on a tender.

Rooms: Excellent, great service

Overall: This ship is adult oriented and we liked that. Entertainment was good.

Suggestions: Cab from cruise port to airport is a rip off.

Cruise tips

Cozumel, Mexico

Walk to end of the pier and there is a shopping area that is clean and all kinds of souvenirs, restaurants, etc. We did the beach island excursion from Celebrity and it was not as advertised- WAY BETTER! They had all-inclusive food & drink and the beach is great. 40 minutes each way to the island but the boat ride was fun. Our guide and everyone involved were very friendly.

Nassau, Bahamas

There was construction which had heavy equipment in the streets with many many people walking. We didn’t do an excursion here but on previous trips did the Atlantis Beach which does not interest us.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

There are 2 piers. One allows walking in, other requires a cab. We had the older, cab access pier. We went to Shore Excursion desk to ask about safety and were told that we might be asked about buying drugs but otherwise ok going into port. We stayed on the ship as did many.

George Town, Grand Cayman

We did the Coral Beach excursion from Celebrity. This is a “tender” port and that’s a process that takes a lil time. The bus to the beach was completely full but friendly drivers. Beach is damaged from storms and at this time not really walkable. Everything else was very nice. Lunch was really good!!
