Royal Caribbean Announces 2025 Europe Itineraries
Bookings open today for newly announced summer 2025 Europe itineraries from Royal Caribbean. The cruise line will deploy a total of six ships to sail from five European destinations - Odyssey of the Seas, Independence of the Seas, Explorer of the Seas, Voyager of the Seas, Brilliance of the Seas, and Allure of the Seas.
Voyages will range from two to 12 nights, homeporting from Athens, Barcelona, Rome, Ravenna, and Southampton. Cruise destination highlights include bucket-list locales in Greece, Croatia, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and France.
Following is a breakdown of Royal Caribbean’s summer 2025 European deployment by ship.
Allure of the Seas – Sailing from Barcelona & Rome
This is the first time since 20215 that Allure of the Seas has sailed in Europe. Allure of the Seas will offer seven-night cruises visiting destinations in Spain, France, and Italy. Highlighted ports include Palma de Mallorca, Florence, Naples, and Provence.
With the return of Allure of the Seas to Europe, guests can enjoy all the benefits of the Oasis Class experience, such as the ship’s signature neighborhoods, twin rock climbing walls and FlowRider surf simulators, the nine-story-high zip line, numerous restaurants, and entertainment hits like the theatrical production of ‘Mama Mia!’.
Odyssey of the Seas – Sailing from Rome
Odyssey of the Seas to sail 7- to 12-night cruises to destinations in Italy, Turkey, Cyprus, and Greece. Highlighted ports include Naples, Ephesus, Limassol, Crete, Mykonos, Rhodes, and Santorini. The ship will be the first of its kind to overnight in Istanbul, as part of a unique 10-night vacation.
Onboard Odyssey of the Seas, guests can enjoy the resort-style pool deck, North Star observation pod, RipCord by iFly, and SeaPlex, the largest indoor and outdoor activity complex at sea. Other ship features include 20-plus restaurants and lounges, such as Teppanyaki, Wonderland, and The Lime & Coconut Bar.
Independence of the Seas – Sailing from Southampton
Independence of the Seas to offer a variety of 2- to 12-night voyages, from the U.K. visiting destinations in Belgium, Denmark, Portugal, France, Spain, and Norway. Highlighted ports include Bruges, Copenhagen, Canary Islands, Bilbao, Oslo, Paris, and Haugesund.
Ship highlights of Independence of the Seas include The Perfect Storm racing waterslides, glow-in-the-dark laser tag, the Escape Room, The Observatorium, and poolside eatery Fish & Ships.
Voyager of the Seas – Sailing from Athens Barcelona, Ravenna & Rome
Voyager of the Seas to sail a variety of 7-night Eastern and Western Mediterranean cruises to France, Istanbul, Greece, and Spain. Port highlights include Provence, Sicily, Sardinia, Valencia, Santorini, Nice, and Dubrovnik.
Onboard, guests can enjoy The Perfect Storm racing waterslides, glow-in-the-dark laser tag, ice skating, dedicated kids and teens spaces, the Vitality Spa & Fitness Center, and restaurants like Giovanni’s Table, Izumi, and Chops Grille.
Explorer of the Seas – Sailing from Ravenna
Explorer of the Seas to sail 7-night Aegean and Adriatic seas itineraries from Ravenna for summer 2025 to destinations in Greece, Montenegro, and Croatia. Highlighted port visits include stops in Dubrovnik, Split, Athens, Argostoli, and Kotor.
On Explorer of the Seas, guests can take advantage of offerings like the ship’s rock climbing wall, ice-skating rink, kids and teens spaces, adults-only Solarium pool, and restaurants such as Chops Grille, Izumi, and Giovanni’s Table.
Brilliance of the Seas – Sailing from Athens
Brilliance of the Seas to offer two 7-night itineraries to Cyprus, Greece, and Turkey. Port highlights include Bodrum, Limassol, and Mykonos, as well as overnights in Istanbul.
Onboard, guests can enjoy scenic views from the ship’s 3 acres of glass, and make memories at the rock climbing wall, onboard mini golf course, and while dining at Vintages, Giovanni’s Table, Izumi, and the Chef’s Table.
