Four Royal Caribbean Ships Headed to Alaska for 2025 Season
Royal Caribbean is expanding its offerings to the ‘Last Frontier’ in 2025. The cruise line is set to send four ships to Alaska in the upcoming season for a range of seven-night cruises from Seattle, Vancouver, and Seward (Anchorage).
Voyages will visit Alaska’s iconic glaciers, parks, and towns, with port stops in Sitka, Skagway, Haines, Ketchikan, Juneau, and more. Onboard, vacationers of all ages can enjoy the fantastic amenities of their Royal Caribbean ship like the RipCord by iFly skydiving simulators, North Star glass observation capsules, rock climbing walls, FlowRider surf simulators, and numerous restaurants, bars, and other entertainment venues.
Following is a look at the Royal Caribbean ships being deployed to Alaska in 2025 as well as itinerary details for each.
Anthem of the Seas will head to Alaska in 2025, its first deployment ever in the region. This ship will sail two different 7-night itineraries. Depending on the sailing, port stops include Sitka, Skagway, Juneau, and Victoria, as well as opportunities to view Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier.
Ship features of Anthem of the Seas include a RipCord by iFly skydiving simulator and the North Star glass observation capsule which reaches as high as 300 feet above the ocean.
Quantum of the Seas will sail roundtrip from Seattle for the 2025 Alaska season. This ship will offer 7-night cruises to Sitka, Skagway, Juneau, and Victoria, with opportunities to see Endicott Arm fjord and Dawes Glacier.
Ship highlights include a FlowRider surf simulator and SeaPlex, the largest indoor activity complex at sea, which features bumper cars, a basketball court, and a roller-skating rink.
Serenade of the Seas will sail 7-night cruises from Vancouver for the 2025 Alaska season. To reach Vancouver, this ship will make an epic 16-night Panama Canal cruise.
For Alaska itineraries, Serenade will cruise the Inside Passage, with port stops in Haines, Sitka, Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan, and scenic viewing opportunities at Hubbard Glacier and Tracy Arm fjord.
Onboard Serenade of the Seas, guests can enjoy spectacular views of the Alaskan scenery with the ship’s three acres of windows, and dine at specialty eateries like Chops Grille, Giovanni’s Table, or Izumi.
Radiance of the Seas will sail rotating 7-night voyages (Southbound and Northbound routes) from Vancouver to Seward. Port stops along the way include Juneau, Sitka, Skagway, Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, and Hubbard Glacier. Before or after their 7-night cruise on Radiance of the Seas, travelers can opt to extend the adventure with a Royal Caribbean Cruisetour to Denali National Park.
This ship’s highlights include a rock climbing wall, as well as eateries Giovanni’s Table (serving family-style Italian classics) and Izumi (serving fresh sushi).
Bookings are now open to Royal Caribbean Crown & Anchor Society loyalty members. Cruises will go on sale to the public at a soon-to-be-announced date.
