Disney Cruise Line has shared details about new features coming to Disney Adventure, the first Disney cruise ship to homeport in Asia. The vessel will begin sailing from Singapore in 2025, offering three- and four-night voyages.

“We’re bringing the magic of Disney Cruise Line to Asia for the first time ever, and we want to give our guests the cruise relaxation and Disney fun they can only experience aboard one of our ships,” said Sharon Siskie, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Disney Cruise Line. “When they set sail on the Disney Adventure, guests will find incredible, immersive areas that bring the worlds of Disney, Pixar and Marvel to life in ways like never before – and these uniquely Disney experiences will inspire families to reconnect, recharge and make unforgettable memories that they’ll cherish forever.”

According to Disney, the passenger capacity of the 208,000-gross-ton Disney Adventure is expected to be approximately 6,700 with around 2,500 crew members.

Every sailing onboard Disney Adventure will include an array of indoor and outdoor fun, with exciting attractions, interactive play areas, and special entertainment for families to enjoy together. Guests will also enjoy the exceptional dining and impeccable service that Disney Cruise Line is known for.

When it’s time to rest, guests will retreat to Disney Adventure’s well-appointed staterooms complete with special Disney touches and family-friendly conveniences, like the signature split-bath concept, which allows two people to get ready at once. The ship will have extensive concierge accommodations, providing ultimate luxury and personalized service. Guests at this concierge level will receive access to a private indoor lounge, an expansive sundeck with a pool and whirlpools, high-end shopping venues, and dedicated spa/fitness facilities.

As with all Disney Cruise Line ships, guests on Disney Adventure will be invited into the world of Disney Storytelling, with imagination, discovery, fantasy, and adventure as the key themes of the vessel. Disney Adventure’s seven uniquely themed areas will each feature Disney characters and unforgettable experiences.

In advance of the ship’s launch, Disney Cruise Line has shared a preview of new ship highlights and spaces onboard the Disney Adventure. Following is a preview of each.

The Disney Imagination Garden is one of the new featured spaces of the ship and one of the vessel’s central areas. This space is a charming garden and open-air performance venue all in one. It has been inspired by 100 years of Disney adventures, from Moana on the high seas to Mowgli in the jungle.

Disney Discovery Reef is a space for families to shop and dine. This ethereal and ever-changing retreat will call on aquatic characters and nautical stories from “The Little Mermaid,” “Lilo & Stitch,” “Finding Nemo” and “Luca.”

The new San Fransokyo Street is inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Big Hero 6”. The space will be a family entertainment venue with an assortment of interactive games and activities, shops, cinemas, and more.

At Wayfinder Bay, guests will be called by “the line where the sky meets the sea” to an open-air oasis for poolside relaxation and entertainment. Its design comes from the Pacific Islands-inspired artistry of Disney Animation’s “Moana”.

The new Town Square will be a celebration of Disney royals. This space filled with shops, lounges, cafes, restaurants, and entertainment venues will exude the enchanting feeling of summer in full bloom. It will feature nods to “Tangled,” “Cinderella,” “Frozen,” “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” and “The Princess and the Frog”.

At Marvel Landing, heroes will unite in a destination for guests of all ages. Featured here will be an Avengers-level adventure, with all-new attractions and experiences.

The new Toy Story Place space is a whimsical, interactive playland with themed food venues and water play areas, where the world of “Toy Story” will come to life.

Debuting 2025

Starting in 2025, Disney Adventure will offer three- and four-night cruises from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre. Disney Adventure will sail from Singapore for at least five years (2025-2030) as part of a collaboration between Disney Cruise Line and the Singapore Tourism Board.

More details about the maiden voyage, onboard experiences, and bookings for Disney Adventure will be announced at a future date.
