Carnival to Serve Largest Thanksgiving Meal in Cruise Line’s History

Carnival Cruise Line is cooking up an extra special Thanksgiving this year! The cruise line has announced that it will serve the largest Thanksgiving meal in the cruise line’s 51-year history, as it anticipated to serve more than 48,000 pounds of turkey - a 14% increase over last year.
This week, Carnival plans to serve more than 110,000 Thanksgiving meals in total. A new addition to this year’s festivities will be a special Vegan menu with an all-plant-based protein.
Following are some fun stats shared from Carnival Cruise Line on how many dishes they plan to serve fleet-wide this Thanksgiving:
- Turkey: 48,000 pounds
- Turkey Gravy: 600+ gallons
- Turkey Stuffing: 6,600+ pounds
- Cranberry Sauce: 2,200+ pounds
- Pumpkin Pie: 20,900+ portions
- Pecan Pie: 24,800+ portions
