SeaDream Yacht Club reviews

About SeaDream Yacht Club

Considering the small size of SeaDream's ships — they only carry 112 passengers each — the gym and spa are surprisingly well-equipped. The all-inclusive fares cover wines, spirits, and tips, plus Bulgari toiletries and pajamas embroidered with guests’ names. SeaDream has some interesting activities: The crew sets up a beach picnic, and guests are served Champagne and caviar off surfboards. They also allow passengers to sleep under the stars on queen-size daybeds.

Expert review of SeaDream Yacht Club

Best For

SeaDream is a match for young-at-heart couples who want service without stuffiness.

Not For

People who like formal nights and musical productions.

We Love

  • SeaDream's all-inclusive fares cover wines, spirits, and tips, plus Bulgari toiletries and pajamas embroidered with guests’ names.
  • Considering the small size of these cruise ships (they only carry 112 passengers each), the gym and spa are surprisingly well equipped.
  • The crew of 95 nearly outnumbers passengers, yet manages to be doting in a noncloying way.
  • Ships stay late in some ports — including St. Barts and St. Tropez — so you can enjoy the nightlife.
  • The sports options are fantastic: Picture mountain bikes, kayaks, sailboats, a floating trampoline, personal watercrafts, water skis, snorkel gear, and a golf simulator.
  • SeaDream takes picnicking to a new level: On remote beaches, you wade through the surf to a buffet of Champagne and caviar, which are balanced on surf boards, then sit down to lunch at tables in the sand.
  • These cruise ships have the only raw food menu at sea. You may not want to “go raw,” but it’s fun to try something new.
  • During open-air movies on the pool deck, you can hear the crashing waves of the ocean along with the soundtrack.

We Could Live Without

  • There are no private balconies in any of SeaDream's cabins.
  • Bathrooms are small, considering the price point, with no double sinks or separate tubs and showers.

Only 2 of 6 excursions went..really disappointing. Maybe too expensive..should just include in the price of the cruise. Read full review

The cabin was well appointed. The bath is small if you're a larger person. Read full review
