When did Carnival Conquest resume operations?

Carnival Conquest resumed sailing on December 13, 2021, from PortMiami. Throughout 2022, the ship offers a variety of short 3- and 4-night Caribbean cruises. Depending on the itinerary, port stops include Nassau, Key West, Half Moon Cay, Cozumel, and Princess Cays, a private island.

Carnival Cruise Line requires 95 percent of guests to have had their final COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before sailing, and all will be required to present proof of vaccination at the time of check-in. In addition, the line has an exemption process to accommodate a small number of guests who are unable or ineligible to be vaccinated (which includes children under five and other exceptions as required by federal law). The guest’s birth certificate or passport (for children), or a letter from a medical provider stating that the individual cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons, must be presented at check-in and an official exemption approval letter from Carnival.

Additionally, Carnival requires a pre-cruise COVID-19 PCR test to be taken by all guests, regardless of vaccination status, within two days before the sailing date.

Onboard activities are laid-back, with fun at the center of all programming. Highlights of the ship include the Tahiti Casino, an art gallery, kids and teens areas, an arcade, multiple pools and whirlpools, an onboard spa, the Twister waterslide, and a shopping area.

Carnival Conquest provides entertainment options for both kids and adults. What to Expect at Embarkation:

Every guest cruising with Carnival will undergo enhanced pre-embarkation health screenings. The line will refer anyone with signs and symptoms of COVID-19 or identified at-risk for additional medical screening before allowing them to board. Secondary screenings (and health checks throughout the cruise) will be performed when necessary. In addition, contact tracing is planned for every cruise.

Carnival Cruise Line will require passengers on all voyages, regardless of vaccination status, to present the following to board the ship:

  • Proof of COVID vaccination (for all guests eligible). To be fully vaccinated, the guest must have received two doses of an approved vaccine within 14-days of sailing.
  • A negative viral COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen) was taken within two days of their embarkation date.

As of January 2022, all guests (ages two and above) are required to wear masks when indoors, except when eating or drinking or when in their staterooms and when outdoors if in large gatherings and physical distance cannot be maintained.
