Overall the cruise was very nice. The customer service was good. The food in the dining room was outstanding! The entertainment was also very good. The one disappointment was with our cabin. It was a nice size; however I would definitely recommend selecting a cabin on a higher deck. We were located on the 2nd deck at the back of the ship. We could hear the engine and feel the vibration from the ship all night which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Because the vibration was so intense, the cabinets, glasses and pictures also vibrated which added to the noise. You could also feel more motion on the lower level as opposed to the upper level. If you suffer from motion sickness, do yourself a favor and stay away from selecting a cabin on any of the lower decks. I've cruised with Royal Caribbean in the past, and there wasn't a significant difference in quality for the price. Overall we paid a great price for this vacation. I would definitely recommend Carnival Glory.
Very expensive shopping and restaurants!
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Beautiful scenery with nice excursions
Loved the shopping!
Carnival Glory
In comparison to Royal Caribbean, the buffet could be greatly improved. Their buffet is open all day with various food items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Carnival Glory's buffet had limited hours. As a result, we had to select less healthier food items such as burgers, pizza etc.
