The Cirque Dreams & Steam dinner show was great. The prime rib dinner was great also. Everyone eats first then sees the show. Get there 30 minutes early to get best seats.

Good for solos
I enjoyed the cruise very much. The seas were mostly calm with some gentle rocking at night which helped with sleep. The activities directors had nice activities as well as fantastic personalities and intermixed with everyone well.
Unfortunately I would not cruise on the Epic again because it has nowhere where you can walk around the entire ship on the outside. The ship is too enclosed aside from the outside pool and sunning decks.

Mariner of the Seas

Because of the bird flew in Mexico, The cruise line decided to do the Pacific coastal cruise from LA to Vancouver Canada. This was a great experience and we were able to do it in an upgraded cabin at half the price. They also gave us credits toward cruising the next year if we wanted to do the Baja trip.

Ruby Princess
Get the princess Medallion sent to your house ahead of time. It helps boarding faster.
Our Princess a ship fit through quite well. It was quite cold outside so took a lot of courage to stand out and look at things as we went through the canal. As we passed by a local restaurant people would come outside and blow bugles and cheer and make noise as we went by and the large ship. There were a lot of fairies to bring cars back-and-forth across the canal.
This was a very nice city. Hundreds of people walking all over in town and you had to zigzag around some of them just to be able to get to where you wanted to go. I had to walk quite a ways to be able to get to the mermaid on the coast but I feel it was worth it.
Riga Is a nice town with lots of old buildings. We decided not to do an excursion and walked around the town some. We met a college professor who gives tours on the side and so we chose him to give us a more detailed tour of the city. This lasted over an hour walking all over the place even into some quaint shops that he knew about and gave us a lot of interesting history. It was well worth the payment he requested.

Nice center quad with shops & eating.
Most shops closed Sundays.
Big mall. Walk 3 blocks to the right to find department-grocery store.
Just lots of vendor shops.
Norwegian Epic
Bring small collapsible boxes to store smaller items.
Excellent work. Nice beach & pool.
Be careful if walking alone.
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas
Nice and free if you like beaches.
