Cruise tips
Highly recommend the excursion to the Pitons and rainforest. Bring cash for lunch.
Negotiate taxi fare and chair and umbrella rentals. The locals will try to take advantage.
San Juan is beautiful and spending a day or two before or after the cruise is highly recommended.
Beautiful beaches.
Taxi drivers and beach chairs and umbrellas were very expensive but you can negotiate prices. Beware of individuals w monkeys that will try to get you to pay for photos w monkey.
Good shopping. Very walkable.
Adventure of the Seas
The Adventure of the Seas was clean and very well staffed. We enjoyed the option of the adult only pool where we could relax and enjoy some quiet time.

We were thoroughly pleased with all of the employees on the Adventure of the Seas ship. They went above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable. Although we liked the spaciousness of our junior suite, #1646, the location on Deck 10, closer to the aft than mid-ship proved to be a noisy location. If you are a light sleeper I would think twice before booking a room on deck 10 toward the aft.
