Built in 2020, Viking Kari was named after the eldest son of the giant Fornjot, Kari was the god of the north wind, capable of carrying Vikings across vast waters. He is associated with the breath of life, providing air for the lungs of mortals. Viking Kari has only 168 guests and a crew of 35. Purpose-built specifically to navigate the Seine River, this vessel docks at an exclusive location in the center of Paris, just a short walking distance from the Eiffel Tower.

The Viking Cruise was our 2nd one so we knew what to expect. The staff and crew were so friendly and accommodating, food was excellent and our rooms were always sparking clean! We like that the River cruises limit the number aboard which makes it so personal meeting others and learning where they live.

This was our 2nd Viking River Cruise so we already knew what to expect. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, food excellent and room accommodations couldn’t have been better! Weather was hot but all the tour guides followed the shade walking and gave us advice.
