Review summary

This was a wonderful cruise for us. It was relaxing as well as interesting, and all our excursions were worthwhile. It was a re-schedule of our March 2020 cruise, so we wanted that specific itinerary and we're glad we got it.

Embarkation

Very well organized

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dining room and Windjammer were great! We didn't enjoy any of the specialty restaurants.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We didn't participate in any onboard activities.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
There wasn't a show every night, and occasionally the choice wasn't a good one for us. The entertainers themselves were talented, including the dancers and singers, Mercedes, and the piano soloist.

Children's Programs

We had no children in these programs.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Sandra was our room steward and she was great! Our dining room waiters were Walter and Tiberio. They went above and beyond, because our table of 11 included some very demanding people. Everyone went out of their way to help and anticipate our needs.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
At first I wasn't a fan of the centrum area, being used to the promenade on the bigger ships, but I've decided I like it.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was fine and we enjoyed our balcony.

Ship tip

Make sure you get signed up for the 5:30 dining time. Those who were MyTime dining were often waiting in a long line to sit down and eat.

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida Did not visit port

Cozumel, Mexico

We took the History walking tour with Carlos and it was excellent. He answered all our questions, and even took us to lunch at a local "kitchen."

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
We held sloths, and had monkeys and macaws on our shoulders. The bus driver was Rupert and Erwin (?) was our guide at the Maya Canopy, but we went through Victor Bodden tours and were very satisfied.

Belize City, Belize Did not visit port

It required a tender trip and my husband's hip was bothering him.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
We visited the ruins with Carlos as our driver, and Erick as our guide. Erick was very interesting, even explaining the Mayan number system. He also told us he'd been there during the excavation of the ruins, so he shared insights from that.

Disembarkation

Great! Much better organized than our Grand Cayman, Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, cruise out of Miami in late April, early May.
