Review summary

Good cruise overall, we enjoyed the food, ports of call and the people we met. We dined beside a lovely couple from California that we quickly became friends with. The ship needs a few upgrades and a facelift to improve her overall, as her age is starting to show.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was great, super fast.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food in the main dining room was good. We also tried CHOPS, the food was excellent. Isumi's was ok. The food in the WINDJAMMER was like SLOP!!!! Awful!!

Chop's Grille

5 out of 5

The food and service was great, well worth the extra money. Great experience.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Not a lot to do on this ship, we just enjoyed relaxing in the sun.

Guest Services and Shore Excursions

1 out of 5

We were told that we had a $100 us on board credit by our travel agent. When we received our bill there was no credit. When we talked to guest services they told us that we did not have a credit and we would have to talk to our travel agent about it. We are still working on getting our $100 us credit now that we are home.

Casino Royale

1 out of 5

The slot machines are old and don't pay at all. Waste of money, no fun.

Vitality Spa

3 out of 5

Fitness center is well equipped and very nice. The Spa is over priced $$$$$$.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Entertainment was ok, we watch a comedy show that was pretty funny and watch a Guy that sang Sinatra tunes. He was ok.

Children's Programs

No kids with us.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Service in general was good, our Room Stewart was great and our dining staff was good.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The Windjammer just had a dirty feel to it, I hated eating there. But after you come back to the ship after excursions there's no where else to eat in mid to late afternoon.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was what we expected, except for the bed. The bed was awful, it was so hard that after the second night my hips were aching. So we told the room Stewart and he put an extra comforter down with a extra mattress pad. The bed was fine after that.

Ship tip

Overall good experience, staff and service was good.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

4 out of 5
We didn't do anything here just got on the ship.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

2 out of 5
St. Thomas is still in very poor condition, it will be some time before they are back to normal.

Basseterre, St. Kitts Did not visit port

Switched to Martinique two days before cruise.

Castries, St. Lucia

4 out of 5
St. Lucia is beautiful, we would love to go back for a couple of weeks.

Bridgetown, Barbados

1 out of 5
It poured rain the whole time we were there.

St. John's, Antigua

4 out of 5
Antigua is great, love the black Pineapple. Yum!

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
The disembarkation was good all the way off the ship until we got into the port building. After getting our luggage we had to wait in a huge line and wait to go through customs. The air in the building was stifling, it was so bad that a woman fainted while waiting in line.
