Review summary

Loved the itinerary, the ship was in good condition, service was great, food and entertainment lacking compared to the competition.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Was a breeze, we were on the wrong lane for 10 minutes, then we were directed to the green lane and it took less than 5 minutes

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
MDR food quality was good, variety not so good, I ended up getting steak 3 out of the 7 nights. Buffet could have been better for dinner, they had Indian food 4 out of the 7 nights and the same dishes too.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
It was cold so not that many people using the pools, hot tubs were nice. Gym was well kept. Went to trivia a few times. Not that many flashy things like the competition but we had fun.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Entertainment in the Princess theater has definitely gone down. There was a Soul music performance with no black performers... Comedian was ok, the Violinist was amazing she was definitely the highlight.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Room attendant Johnny was really nice, he knew our names as soon as he saw us. We had a problem with room service, the first day our breakfast was not delivered and we had to ask for a bucket of ice 3 times, finally got it on the 3 day.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was clean and well kept, maybe needs some different venues.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Obstructed view but it in the perfect spot, on a gap between 2 tender boats. The only downside was that those are the tender boats they use on tender ports. We didn't hear them but we hear people working on them a few times, nothing unbearable.

Ship tip

We got the enclave pass for $150 for 7 days and we loved it. It was a nice way to relax before bed

Ports of call

Victoria, British Columbia

4 out of 5
Only there for 2 hours, enough time to walk downtown and take a few pics, 30 min walk downtown or a 5 min Uber drive. That being said downtown was really pretty at night.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Fastest ever, we only had our carry on and had breakfast at the buffet till 9:30. We barely had to show our passports to walk out.
