Review summary

Best part:  Ship is beautiful. Staff is great. Ports are amazing. Check out Dr John's lectures on the ports and don't miss Hubbard a Glacier at 7 am.

Not so good: windjammer food, selection and times needs improving.  If you drink non alcoholic beer, they only seem to carry the horrible ODouls rather than its usual Buckker (which is great). We had to have staff search for it in the back and waited 2 days for it. At least we got it. Would have been bad if we couldn't have gotten it.

worst:  mattresses in stateroom were really hard and not comfortable.  Room service selection and time to get to your room.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Dining room was good. Windjammer, chops and room service were just "ok" to me. Rita's cantina was changed to crab shack which is expensive and you can buy fresh crab in port for less every day.

Entertainment

Love and marriage show and AJ the comedian was great.

Service and Staff

Great, except mattress was horrible! I had to add 3 comforters on it to sleep on it.

Ketchikan, Alaska Did not visit port

If you want a cheaper salmon fishing trip go to united cruises to book. Great fishing. Caught 30 salmon in 3 hours. 6 of us split it and had it shipped home.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

So gorgeous. Eat lunch in port. Do wildlife search or whale watching. It seemed to be the best.

If you couldn't fit in visiting the musher camp in port, United cruises has a great excursion to see camp and spend day doing few other activities called the real alaska tour and it's awesome.
