Review summary

Great experience, onboard activities could be better, but overall a great experience. Royal has a naturalist on board that talks about the glaciers, the wildlife, and the native tribes of Alaska which made the experience even better.

Save time to take the tram up the volcano. It is $33 but really spectacular with a 1 mile scenic loop. Also the Mendenhall glacier has a 2 mile round trip hike where you can see the glacier and the waterfall next to it.
