So my only negative is we were stuck on the ship an extra 3 days (also a positive). Our prepaid drink package was not honored for the last 3 days and we had to pay for our laundry.
Embarkation

The embarkation was quick and painless. I would attribute this most to being Port Canaveral

Definitely give it a shot, it's a lot of fun.
Casino Royale

The casino was the best place to go late at night to have a drink and be around other people.
Carousel

Perfect for little kids!
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Unlike other cruises I've been on, you have to set a reservation to go to the comedy shows or most of the other entertainment. Due to this we weren't able to do much that we wanted to. Additionally, i wouldn't recommend this if you're in your 20s-30s and like to party. Most of the ship was quiet by 10pm.
Service and Staff

The staff was top notch!
Ship Quality

RC really does have the best ships. This was my first cruise on one of the large ships so getting used to the large hole in the middle of the ship took some getting used to.
Cozumel is my favorite port! We were lucky because we got stuck at sea an extra 3 nights due to Hurricane Irma. They kep us in Cozumel overnight and all day the next day.
Most of my cruises have been on Carnival, but I have also sailed 2 cruises each on RCCL and NCL. I was very disappointed to find I would have to make reservations ahead of time. I did that for the shows (HATED CATS!!) but I could not get into the comedy shows. I returned to Carnival last year, and I am so happy to be back! I sailed the Breeze in March 2019, and just got off the Glory on February 9. I will be leaving again on the Magic for a B2B in April. Yes, RCCL ships will WOW you, but give me Carnival any day of the week because the “fun factor” of Carnival beats the “WOW” factor of RCCL always. As for NCL? I really loved their Freestyle Cruising concept, and food was fabulous. But reservations were also needed for all their shows, comedy included, and with their Free At Sea promotions, they have out priced the cruises from my budget.
