Review summary

Second time in a Central Park balcony cabin. The benefit is a free lunch in Giovanni's which we substitute for dinner. After being diverted to Nassau due to a passenger illness, we missed our first stop at Labadee but later in the week got there anyway because tropic storm Nate prevented the ship from going to Cozumel. So after Jamaica they doubled back to Labadee. Weather for the day on the beach was perfect. The headliner this week was Savannah Jack. They played a variety of popular music and were one of the best headliners we have seen. It was so good we went to two shows.

Very quick. We arrived just before 11am. Got through security and check in quickly and headed on board with the first wave of guests.

Food and Dining

We did not eat in the main dining room for dinner at all. Solarium Bistro twice for dinner, Giovanni's for dinner first day and then for lunch later in the week. A couple stops in the Windjammer the other nights suited us just fine. We had one very nice lunch on a sea day in the main dining room. For breakfast we prefer the laid back Solarium Bistro over the Windjammer.

Onboard Activities

We prefer the quite Solarium for laying out on sea days. For the first time we participated in a martini making class and had a blast. Great value and the bar tender was very entertaining.

Entertainment

The shows were good but the headliner this trip was fantastic. A band called Savannah Jack. They did three performances and we went to two of them. They performed about 50% different songs each time. Another great band we heard was on deck during the last sea day.

Central Park balcony unit floor 10 above Chops. Very nice location and worked well for us. No noise and close to Diamond Lounge.
