Review summary

First time cruiser, this itinerary was great as we got to explore many Caribbean islands in one trip. We had a good experience, just know that the ships do ‘rock’ when the seas are wavy.

Food and Dining

Food was average. Dining rooms very clean, staff pleasant and they work very hard and provide excellent service. Buffets are ‘buffets.’ With 2k people onboard, it’s a hectic experience but expected because of the volume.

Onboard Activities

pools clean. A major bummer was the amount of cigarette smoke and smell in the Casino on 7th deck, where the kids have their activities too. Also, it prevented us from enjoying gambling while onboard. You could smell the cigarette smoke all the way down to the 6th and 5th deck. This is offensive to many as well as so unhealthy to the Staff who have to work in it. It shouldn’t be allowed inside a ship.

Entertainment

Stage shows and game shows were fabulous. The Performers were great, bands played so many different genres. Enjoyed them all.

Wait staff, room stewards, and all who work on Norwegian Sky cruise were awesome! Very pleasant, accommodating to all your needs. They work tirelessly for everyone to enjoy their time on-board. Amazing individuals and am grateful for all they do.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was kept very clean by our steward, and we enjoyed having the picture window as it helped with feeling spacious and not cramped. Beds were harder than we like, but slept better once we placed extra comforters underneath the sheets. Pillows ver soft.
