Review summary
The quality of the cruise was lessened because of a problem with the ship's engines, which caused a change in the time arriving / departing at / from a number of the ports. The $200 given to us by the cruise line was not commensurate with the loss of excursions and port time. As a further insult, the money could only be used for ship board purchases which greatly lessened the value. While this problem was rectified at Darwin, there appears to be no reason why this repair couldn't have been accomplished in Singapore. The on-board staff apparently had no ability to address any additional compensation for the reduced quality of the cruise.Embarkation
