Review summary

Norwegian has devolved into money grubbing ghouls trying to milk passengers for every nickel and dime they can. Staff were unfriendly and uninformed about beverage/dining packages. Guest services were rude and dismissive. Entertainment was good when I could enjoy it, but expect to wait on long lines and arrive 30 minutes to an hour ahead of time to get a seat. It was the worst vacation I have ever experienced, on par with the time I got Montezuma's revenge in Mexico. I would advise anyone to reconsider before you take a cruise with Norwegian.

Embarkation

The ship was supposed to depart at 3pm, didn't depart until 8pm. Because of poor communication, everyone was just sitting at the cruise terminal for hours.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Food was fine, nothing was outstanding. Wait times at restaurants were long and did not feel justified, based on the food served.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Not enough activities or every activity was incredibly busy with people. It was cold and rocky the whole cruise, so pools were off the table, as well as the ropes course and other outdoor activities. It was either too cold and windy to indulge in outdoor activities or they were all closed by the ship's staff. Everyone was basically stuck inside the whole cruise.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Staff was unhelpful, curt, and dismissive. I'm still waiting for a refund for a broken arcade machine, which guest services told me they would file a report about, but also did not outright trust me.

Ship Quality

The ship had everything located on three floors. Everyone was packed like sardines.

Ship tip

Avoid Norwegian at all costs!

Ports of call

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

Didn't get to enjoy the port. The ship was massively delayed, affecting the time spent at port. We were supposed to arrive in Bermuda by 9am, we arrived at 12pm. I missed a tour I scheduled, because only one ferry was available and it left before I could depart the overly crowded ship. The cruise was set to then depart Bermuda the following day at 3pm, but instead left at 12pm. So myself and many people didn't even bother getting off the ship the next day. It was a mess that could've been rectified with better planning and communication.
