It has left us questioning if we will take another cruise on NCL or at all. We are looking at all inclusive options for our next trip. My hope is that NCL will tweak some things to make for a better experience for all.

Having the Vibe Beach Club was a life saver for us. We don’t have kids and the ship was far too crowded. Having the peace and quiet of the Vibe Beach Club was perfect plus we met some really nice people.

The ship feels small for the amount of passengers it carries. We were on the Epic a few years ago and never felt encumbered by the overwhelming amount of passengers. It felt more like a Carnival Cruise than a Norwegian Cruise and that’s not a compliment.
Cabin / Stateroom

Room was very small and the air conditioning only ran for 15 minutes at a time. We kept waking up because it was hot and we needed to restart the AC. and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. The balcony was also very small.
Ship tip
Get the Vibe Beach Club deal - it’s well worth it!
I can’t say much about the port as we went to NCL’s island and tried the beach and decided to do the pool for a while. We stayed for about 45 minutes and then returned to the ship. I would have liked an adult pool only option.
We did the Playa Mia excursion along with about 7 or 8 other cruise ships. It was ok. The drinks were good but the food was awful. Next time will book another excursion.
Thanks for your honest review. I was on the Escape last year. I found it enjoyable. Going on the Getaway in February. I might just be a glass half full kind of guy. I figure any day on any cruise ship is better than a day at work.
