Cagney's Steakhouse on Norwegian Getaway

Excellent service & food.

Steak was okay. $5 upcharge for a crab cake.

Excellent meal and service! I had a wonderful petite filet and my husband had surf and turf which he loved.

You cannot go wrong with a meal at Cagney’s! They have excellent cuts of meat and they cook them to perfection. Their jumbo shrimp cocktail is also a must, on other lines they give you four small shrimp on soggy lettuce but not at Cagney’s. They are huge! The other seafood items are also fresh and prepared well, like the oysters Rockefeller. Their sides are also delicious so check out the fries and Mac n cheese. Also make sure to save room for dessert because they have some good ones.

I misspoke when I said that we didn't partake of specialty dining. My sister-in-law and her family booked the same cruise, and we joined them for her husband's birthday dinner celebration. The steak was just okay. I expect steak to be excellent at a specialty steakhouse. The service was mediocre for our party of 8.

Food was decent. Nothing that you would write home about. The steak was good as well as the lamb chops. It was part of our package. If I had to pay for it, I wouldn’t go. Been to better steakhouses. The service is slow. Took over two hours from the time we sat until we were finished. The main course came and had to wait an additional five minutes for the sides. The staff was great. You could tell the deal with this and were very apologetic.

Cagneys was wonderful. Food and staff were 5 star all the way!
