We had fun on this cruise but I’m not sure we will cruise with NCL anytime soon. The weather is uncontrollable and they did the best they could to accommodate us as far as bringing us to Costa Maya. The ship staff however was unable to keep up with everyone on the ship for the extra day at sea. Especially the pool area and surrounding decks.

We ended up on the ship for two full days because two ports of call were canceled due to bad weather. The ships amenities were very nice but overshadowed by big crowds everywhere and a staff that simply couldn’t keep up. The pool area was extremely crowded and long, slow lines to get a drink.

We attended two shows… Blazin Boots and a 70’s show. They were both outstanding!

Many were outstanding, some were ok, and a few were poor. In all fairness, I don’t think they were equipped or prepared for an additional day at sea but it was quite poor around the pool area.
Ship Quality

Most of ship was very clean but again in pool area and surrounding decks it was filthy. Many staff would walk by trays of empty drinks and not pick them up. We would actually pick up others trash ourselves because it was disgusting.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our room was big enough and we loved the view!

Hope for good weather so you can get off the ship at ports.
We didn’t get to go because of poor weather. We ended up at Costa Maya instead which was ok. They gave us $100 refund per cabin for not being able to go to two ports on the itinerary. We didn’t think it was fair compensation considering we missed one port completely and the second short one doesn’t come close to Great Stirrup Cay.
