Review summary

We liked the Norwegian Gem. The first couple days were a little cold but we are always so glad to be out of our winter that 60 degrees isn't so bad. The inside stateroom wasn't designed very well. When the beds were pushed together, it was hard to get around the cabin(I don't know how the cabin steward cleaned in there). And the toilet was way too close to the bathroom wall.

None of this spoiled our vacation, because we always have fun when we're cruising.

The food was a little uneven. We found the food in the main dining room very good, the buffet was very good at breakfast and lunch but dinner was so-so. the French Bistro and the Steakhouse were great but the Moderno was not good.

Aldean was great, we had a lot of fun with her. We had a little trouble one day with the internet manager and service. He was not where he said he would be at a particular time and the guest service desk said that no one else could help us but the internet manager( but he wasn't available). We got the run around.
