Review summary

The cruise was great. It was chilly and windy and the seas were a little rougher than I expected, but all was good. We missed Gibraltar due to a motor/engine issue, but it was okay. They do need more seats in the Atrium, or use the Theatre more for the "demos" and little shows they put on during the day because the microphone narrations can be heard far and wide on the ship .... not pleasant

Embarkation

There was a long line, a very long line that took hours to go through. Everyone was very nice but evidently, they needed more staff to handle the large group of guests

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was great in the dining room and in the buffet but exceptional in the Italian Restaurant, Cagneys, the steak house, but the Japanese Taganaki food was less than stellar but the Chefs were Incredible! They were talented both in chop chop and in singing! Exceptional!

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The musicians were wonderful. I didn't see the dance shows

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All waiters, bartenders, and service personnel were great. Yatze (sp) and the other bartender from Romania were great! We pretty much used that bar outside of the Manhattan dining room and the Casino. Yatze's wife was named Mae and she was a great waitress in the Manhattan Dining room.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

Small for two people. If I was sitting on the little stool doing my makeup, my husband would have to crawl over the bed to get from one side to the other. It was cramped. I really don't like the toilet, sink and shower being separate, but it worked so all is good. I would not use that ship again unless that was changed.
