I wish I could have afforded a plane ticket home from bermuda

Sorry that your cruise was not what you had thought it would be.   In this day and age with the internet you should do a bit of research on you ports before you take a cruise if you have specific requirements from a port.  I do a little research on a port,  but not so much that I will not have anything left to discover when I get there.

Showers can be small on ships,  I remember a comedian on the Viking Serenade saying "the shower is so small if you drop the soap in the shower you have to get out of the shower to pick it up"   He was not kidding.

I do agree that the MDR food is not great, barley good on NCL but I did enjoy the Steak House, the French and the Sushi in the Specialty restaurants.

Did you make a mistake with your five star rating? A Five  Stars rating means that your cruise was excellent. I think I have been on this ship but after 50 cruise I forget.  I visited the Royal Navy Dockyards and had a great tour when i cruised to Bermuda on the Celebrity Summit two years ago.  What did you not like about your tour?  Did you take an organized tour from the ship? 

I loved Bermuda. The people were friendly and I hope to return if the Carnival Sunshine does start up cruises here from Port Canaveral. They have a test one scheduled for October '15. 

I hope that your net cruise is a better fit for you. 

I am confused once again by the review rating versus the comment made. A five-star rating makes me thing you had an exceptionally great cruise. I certainly hope so. The beaches may be spread out a bit and perhaps your expectation was to walk to one. Taxis are plentiful and the bus pass system previously mentioned worked for us pretty well. Hope you try again another time.

Sorry to hear that the trip was not what you expected. There is a beach that is walking distance from the ship,and a pass to the whole island is quite affordable. While we were there we had no trouble asking for directions to secluded beaches.As for the food and service, I did not experience any real disappointments except one meal, the rest was fine. please give it another try.
