The cancellation of tortolla due to saving gas started this vacation on a bad foot. The ship was incredibly crowded, so adding another sea day was a complete bummer. Selecting the Magans bay excursion was another bummer. Worst cruise I have ever been on and will not sail again for a very long time.

Overcrowding is the general theme. The shows in the theatre were great, everything else was not accessible unless you waited in lines about 30 minutes prior.

Burn the floor was awesome. The comedians were great. There were the theatre shows.
Service and Staff

Good staff was great in all except Savor restaurant. Not sure what was going on there, but was awful service and rude hostess. Manhattan room and all restaurants as well as bar staff everywhere else was fantastic. We went to savor/taste 3 times and consistently bad, so we avoided for remainder of trip.

Was fine, but very old . Bedding was incredibly worn.
Ship tip
Do not use ship for excursion to Magans bay. Taxi to another beach or some other excursion.
Complete lack of direction and staff was downright rude. This applied to all debarking. I felt like cattle. We stood for almost 2 hours for the Magans bay excursion including 40 minutes in the sun as they lined up the hundreds of cattle to shuttle to a lack luster experience. I would have paid someone to save me from that experience.
I can relate. Was not my favorite cruise either. Lack of activity. Best show was in Syds but having to wait in line an hour and a half to get a seat is ridiculous. The venue is just too small. I did however enjoy the food. Thought the buffet was one of the best at see, though no other included options except the Irish restaurant. Nothing poolside. I stick with carnival.
Our recent experience is that all carribbean cruises are crowded. Actually, we think Royal is even more crowded due to all the kid focused activities.
We are not sea day people. Our perfect cruise is 0 to 1 sea days. I know it is disappointing to have extra sea days.
