Review summary

Overall the cruise was fantastic! NCL is still the best for my money!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy considering we were just coming out of the pandemic. Having a pre-covid test through NCL's third party testing company made the pre-boarding experience very easy.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food and service in all dining rooms was absolutely wonderful! Our favorites were Le Bistro and La Cucina, but the food in every dinning room and the buffet area was perfect.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Lots to do but really enjoyed the wine and sprits tastings the most.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All of the live bands that performed were wonderful! The Jersey Boy's play and music was just as good as a Broadway musical!

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
We don't have children so I honestly don't know what was offered.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was just wonderful! The ship was fully staffed and there was never any lag in service. It amazed me how so many staff people recognized us personally every day! There was no such word as "no" ever.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was immaculate and was always being cleaned. Guests were always encouraged to wash their hands and use hand sanitizer as often as possible. The design of the ship was good for the most part except for some minor things. The atrium in the center of the ship is always busy with activities or bands which tend to be loud. That being said, it can be very difficult to communicate with the guest services staff who are also in this area. Restaurant locations were good except for Ocean Blue which was in a high traffic area so it was somewhat noisy. This restaurant should be switched out with the Mexican restaurant Los Lobos which is located near Cagney's and is in a much quieter area. Los Lobos would be much more fun in a higher traffic area being the type of restaurant it is.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Very nice except I think they should do the sitting area with chairs, not a someone uncomfortable couch, if you can call it that. The bathroom is plenty big with a double sink and large shower with great water pressure and different body sprays.

Ship tip

Book your entertainment and dining times early! You can do this online before the cruise or they have a nice setup for doing this in one of the restaurants when you board the ship. Same for the entertainment.
