Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was excellent in every restaurant. Maitre d Daniel was absolutely amazing!

5 out of 5
Played Bingo, Games in the Atrium, Shows and music

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Music was so so, but enjoyed it. Shows were good. Overall good.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Other then the Maitre d, no one else stood out. Entertainment staff was high energy but made no effort to connect. Had a huge issue with security while re boarding from a port. I was traveling with my sons ashes (the reason for the cruise was to take him to Alaska). Going through x-ray machine was always an issue even though I told them in advance that I had a travel urn and it was my sons ashes. The security guard in Skagway, even after being told 3 times, grabbed the urn from my hand and tried to open it. He had the lid off before I could even scream! Totally inappropriate and insensitive. He was rude and would not listen. I told him 3 times and asked him to just to run it back through the x-ray, but for some reason he wanted to open the urn. I was in tears. Excursions were always a bit unorganized.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Perfectly clean at all times. Everything was laid out well and easy to find.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was an oceanview not an inside cabin as listed here. Nice space and comfortable. Cabin Steward George was awesome!

Ship tip

Observation lounge is a fantastic space to hang out. Eat at The Local (ALOT).

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

5 out of 5
Did excursions in every port including Seattle. They were all great. Seattle is a beautiful city with great vibes!

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
Did an excursion. I have done this one before but still loved it. More city then I wanted but was ok. Excursion was too long. Need to be an hour or so shorter in order to enjoy the town also.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Always one of my favorite ports! Love the history of Skagway and the downtown area. Did an excursion. Once again, just a little too long.

Cruise Glacier Bay

5 out of 5
Always magnificent. Woke up a 4am to get the perfect spot in the Observation Lounge. I loved the Observation lounge. The Rangers were also great. Except the Ranger on the speaker was not understandable. Could not hear nor understand what he was saying.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Could not port due to weather. Extremely disappointed!!!!!!!!! This is my absolutely favorite port!! Very sad!

Victoria, British Columbia

3 out of 5
Victoria is always a little boring. Not enough time to do much but there really is not much to do. Did an excursion to Buchart Garden and a city tour. Just another city.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth and quick. Had an excursion upon disembarkation.
