Review summary

Beautiful, smaller size ship traveling at 1/3 capacity.

Embarkation

Because we have a special needs 4 year old, it was rough. The antigen test at port was quick then had to wait 45 mins for result. Staff were confused about whether a cheek swab would be ok or a nasal swab was required.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Buffet blew my mind. So fresh and so many choices. Mdr was good but not any better than Carnival as far as quality. Ambiance and crew service top notch and they really catered to our son.

Playmakers Bar & Arcade

4 out of 5

Crew very nice but we bought a burger and it arrived cold. Sent it back and got another but don’t think it was worth $9.00Campfire cookie was good and crew brought extra ice cream for my son! 60 oz pitcher of beer was $18. Best deal on board.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Kids club open for un vaccinated kids under 5! Masks required. So thankful club was open. No enough family activities outside of kids club for families with small children. Hubs and I went on slides while kid at club. Very fun!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Ice skating show was magical. Reggae band on Lido fabulous.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Great care, provided a ship phone. They used it to call us a few times to come pick up our son, who was asking for us. I didn’t think it nescessary for them to come have us pick him up a few of the times but maybe it was protocol?

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Can’t say enough about how great the crew were! We were at 1/3 capacity and there were tons of people around at all times to assist.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Amazingly clean. Someone always cleaning.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Large ADA cabin.( Special needs child ) I saw the other interior cabins while they were being cleaned and they are very tiny. Smaller than Carnival interiors.

Ship tip

Bring things to occupy kids while they wait for tests. Pools are not heated. No slides for kids under 42”.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California Did not visit port

Home port.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Able to stay on until 930 am, taking our time, which was nice. Buffet was good on disembarkation day.
