Review summary

For a first timer, this was a great experience. Friendly staff, great food, & tons of activities. Don't think you can ask for more than that.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was a smooth embarkation process. There were a lot of people but there was enough staff to assist everyone.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food on the ship was great. Food was available on multiple levels of the ship and each level had a different variety of food. The french toast at the buffet were delicious. The nachos, tacos & burritos at El Loco Fresh always hit the spot. The kids loved the pizza at Cafe Promenade. We spent all of our dinners in the dining room and the food was exceptional, especially the dessert.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Our kids loved being in the pool. That's all they wanted to do. After they slept, we enjoyed sitting back and watching a movie near the pool.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Adam Kario's juggling act was not only fun to watch, he also cracked us up with his humor. We enjoyed the late night adult game show as well. The music in the red room was awesome, the DJ really played to the crowd. We also saw one of the ice skating performances. The performers did a really good job.

Children's Programs

We did not send our kids into the program.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service and staff was probably the best part of the ship. Everyone was so friendly and willing to assist us with our needs. Unfortunately, I don't remember everyone's name but our room steward was very nice. Every time we saw him he always asked how we were doing and if we needed anything. When we returned to our room after dinner, our kids were amazed to see a towel animal sitting there on our beds. They sat next to it and wanted to take pictures with it. The waiters & ship personnel were awesome. My parents had special dietary restrictions and they made sure my parents had something delicious to eat every single day. I'm not 100% sure but I think her name is Marichu. I wish I took her card so I could tell you her name but she was very helpful in making sure my parents had a breakfast that they would enjoy every morning. I'm not sure if it helps, but if you were to walk into the buffet, she oversaw the second section on the right side. She looked Filipino and was kind of short. The staff at the Cafe Promenade were very helpful as well. They were able to make special slices of pizza for my families request. The wait staff during dinner were very friendly and helpful as well. They understood my families dietary restrictions and did everything they could to make sure we were satisfied. Ihsan the head waiter took our breakfast, lunch & dinner orders every night to make sure there would be something for us to eat during every meal. Our waiters Randy & Ida were great. They brought our food out as soon as it was ready and they even did an awesome job entertaining the kids when they got a little cranky. The whole wait staff was great.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was very clean. The staff did a good job making sure everyone entering the buffet washed their hands. While walking around on the ship I noticed that there was no garbage left behind. The staff made sure everything was always neat and clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We didn't spend that much time in the cabin but overall it was a decent cabin. I wish it were a little bigger especially the bathroom. It was a little tight in there. The beds were comfy.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
We did not do any excursions. We walked to the beach and spent some time on the beach.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
We did not do any excursions. We spent all of our time on the splash pad area with the kids. We were glad we spoke to one of the workers before going into the Thrill Water Park. They informed us that our children wouldn't be able to go on majority of the rides. We were iffy to begin with due to the high cost ($30 pp) so we were glad they pointed us in the right direction.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Disembarkation was quick and easy. There wasn't a line so we were out in no time.
