Review summary

Great for first time cruise and i wish there was something for my infant to do other than walk around. I wished there was more for my 5 year old to enjoy.

Embarkation

It was great. I bought the key so there was a separate area once on the boat that they would take our bags straight to the room. You can get any beverage as you boarded and the food was endless. We took our bathing suits on in a bag so they could start enjoying the pool right away.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The dining room is like a 5 star restaurant where dressing up is optional now. With the key we got a specialty welcome aboard lunch at the specialty restaurant and it was delicious. The buffet had so many options but the only thing that had great taste was the Indian food. I took a one year old and the juice was in the morning - so take a couple to fill up on the juice. Anything that is delivered to the cabin for the baby is free.

Onboard Activities

Unfortunately, my son was to short for a lot of the activities. He loved the pool and also the bouncing thing and climb thing. My other half did the rock climbing and slides. We spent a lot of time running around looking at everything and just chilling. This cruise is mainly for older kids and adults.

Entertainment

We went to the ice show and it was amazing.

Children's Programs

Great communication at the tots club. My 1 year old went and they gave me a phone that they could call me on if they needed me. The only thing was it was hot in the room. If they kept it cooler it probably would have been better for my baby. Other than that it was great with communication.

Service and Staff

The stateroom attendant was amazing! She took care of all our needs. I had to go to customer service to let them know that I was charged for something that I shouldn't had been. They automatically just returned my account.

Ship Quality

Great layout and design. Very clean! I was really impressed with the guy singing with the guitar to wash your hands. They really tried to get people to use proper hygiene which was amazing to see.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I thought my room was a great size and my family was comfortable. We had two adults, two children in our room. We had one fold down bed which my other half drunk self laid on while the children and I stretched out all over. The bathroom had enough space and an extra shelf. There was enough plugs. We only had two cell phones and one game. We also had a two seater couch in it.

Ship tip

Get the KEY program, take your swimsuit when you get on board, the dining room is only crowded during embankment and before ports, if you don't drink call and let them know so you only have to get the drink package for the person who does, no children under 42" or they won't have anything to do. NO baby splash pad and no children in the pool with swim diapers,

We walked to everything except the queen's stairs which was a disappointment. Other than that I wasn't impressed. GO for the beach

Great! We had the key so we got a goodbye dinner and they escorted us off the ship the entire way. It was great!
