For a vista “suite” it was definitely smaller than expected….: no bath only shower.. be advised, the toilets are very close to the shower so if you’re tall….. your knees will be against the shower glass and suffice it to say that the actual toilet size is like a thumbtack. The bed was quite comfy though and the balcony was nice too.

Door handle to balcony needed attention. We also put in a request to have mini bar stuff removed and never was. Other then that everything was spot on I thought for first cruise.

We expected a tub as most other Holland America ships have; but there was none. The bathroom could have used a little more cabinet space; as it was the hairdryer was stored in the cabin desk drawer, because there was no room in the bathroom for it.

We actually upgraded to a signature suite after realizing how small the "Vista Suite" actually is. Calling the "Vista Suite" a suite is misleading. They are as small or smaller than regular cabins on other ships. The Signature Suite, though was roomy and met our needs. The bathroom was large. There was a tub in the bathroom, though, which took up much of the space across from the sink area and left room for only a tiny shower typical of the smallest cabins. Signature and Vista suites, though, have no suite benefits.
