My wife was not feeling well during the cruise. We both caught a cold in Amsterdam and neither of us felt the best the entire trip. She was also hampered with a tight back and ailing hip which made her getting around difficult. That had a lot to do with my disappointment during this cruise.

We are not drinkers, so we didn't do a lot of drinking, but what little we did, the service was great and the lounge staffs helpful and courteous. We only ate in the dining room a couple of times and the staff was very courteous and prompt. We didn't eat in any of the specialty restaurants. We ate most of our meals in the Windjammer.the staff there was great. They were friendly and very prompt with their service. The food, in my opinion left a little to be desired. It was tasty and a there was a great variety, but I felt like it was dry and over-cooked.

The cabin was little small, but doable. Our cabin steward was excellent. He was always readily available and very personable. He took excellent care of us and maintained our cabin in a very clean and orderly fashion.
Ship tip
Enjoy your cruise. I really have no problems with the ship or its staff. I was just a little disappointed with the itinerary I chose.
What horrible timing with the health issues... while always best to be home during sickness and back pain, there is a case to be made for being on a cruise ship with room service and everything near by.
