Windjammer Café on Jewel of the Seas

I usually love Windjammer, but I didn't find it as good this go-round. Some things were cooked too long (or sat under the heat lamps too long) and were dried out, or they were already cold.

This is one venue that frequently felt crowded. There is limited seating and it was frustrating trying to find a table. At peak times, the buffet items seemed picked over and in limited supply, and they struggled at times to keep a supply of clean coffee mugs, resorting to paper cups.

Seems a lot of dishes were devoted to Indian food and Vegetarian. Always enough to satisfy our needs but could use some pizzazz….and the carvery station need some work. To many repeats.

Not a fan of buffets on any ship, so I am the wrong one to ask, but I would call this one adequate but not great. No surprise, but I have yet to find one I would rate a five, including this one.

Great food, brilliant staff. Loved it for breakfast and lunch.

Fully stocked all the time. Only went for lunch once and breakfast every morning. Getting drinks could be made easier. Didn't really understand if we had a server that was suppose to. I saw some getting drinks but never had anyone come to our table. So we always had to go and get our own. Juice was always watered down.

Food was pretty good, just needed more variety - along with sandwiches and better desserts.

For a buffet it was good. Need a little more salad options. And for a buffet the food was a little to fancy..
