Our state room was in the back of the ship. We were happy with the location as most of the destinations on the ship were in the back or in the center of the ship. We had good sunset views on the right side, but the view of the coast line would have been better on the left side of the ship.

Internet package difficult to get working so make sure you go to Internet troubleshooting desk the afternoon of your first day. Bring any coupons the day you use them and don't wait to the end. If you are in a hurry when leaving the ship, take your own luggage - luggage service not timely.

Come prepared to be patient and to pay quite some extras. If that doesn't bother you, you are up for a great experience.

Be prepared to pay for a lot of extras , similar to micro transactions on games. These charges ruined the cruise experience for me.

Make sure to get back to the ship prior to final boarding time, as our companions were a few minutes late one time and they had to take the train overnight from Civitavecchia to Naples to get back on the ship.

Beautiful ship overall. Its VERY similar to its sister ship, The OASIS. So if you have sailed the later expect the same layout overall. Purchase the specialty dinning package. 150 Central was by far absolute best restaurant! Its over crowded at the pool with kids. There is no pool for adults!

There were two formal nights during our cruise because some people boarded in Rome and others in Barcelona. While many dressed up, most didn't. Avoid peak times in the Windjammer MarketPlace - it's a madhouse and there aren't enough tables.

Be careful as to which shows you go to. Grease offended those in our group. The other shows were great. If you are doing an off shore excursion by yourself, the onboard staff are not very helpful. Several ports have local bus stops right by the port gate. We had to find that out on our own.
