Review summary

This was our 9th cruise, and our friends 1st. We had such a great time seeing cruising again through the eyes of first timers. The duck hunting on board became our main activity, and I believe we covered every square inch of the ship at least twice. It's all about having fun and that we certainly did. Can't wait for our next cruise.

Embarkation

Embarkation was smooth and quick. We were checked in and on the ship within 15 minutes. (Yes we arrived at our assigned time)

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I have read so many complaints about the food on cruise ships. Oh my was the quality and taste spot on. It has been a long while since the food in the main dining room was this good. Chop's was absolutely amazing as well. The Windjammer quality was great, the selection though while plenty to choose from it was the same every day.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There is something for everyone, the Ultimate Abyss was so much fun. The mini golf on Harmony was a very popular activity, and so much fun.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service this cruise was top notch. Karim and Emilio were just fabulous in the main dining room. Rowen was one of our best cabin stewards.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
You can tell Harmony is starting to get some age on her, but she is still beautiful, clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The balcony cabin is a standard cruise cabin. The bed is right next to the balcony, which we prefer. We had plenty of storage so it was easy to keep our cabin orderly.

Ship tip

Just enjoy yourself, you are on vacation. You don't have to cook or clean. So just breathe and have a greatvtime.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

The new terminal in Galveston is massive. Galveston itself is an amazing island and is way bigger than I thought. Just don't stay at the LaQuinta on the South Sea Wall. Doc Hollidays Roadhouse is amazing, We had dinner there the night beforeour cruise. The homemade Ranch dressing is a must get if you are having a salad or fries.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
In Cozumel we booked through Royal and visited the San Gervasio Mayan Ruins. Payo our guide was amazing as he spoke to us in English, Spanish, and Mayan.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

In Costa Maya we visited Maya Chan Beach resort. So much fun. The owners are American and we had a great conversation with David.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Very streamlined process when people will follow instructions. We were off the ship and out of the terminal in around 10 minutes.
