Review summary

Harmony of the Seas is a very nice cruise ship with lots of activities. We are still wondering how big is too big of a ship and still havent found the answer. While HotS isn't the Icon, but she is still plenty big.

Embarkation

This went very smooth and almost a straight walk without delays.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Theresa and Christopher did an excellent job waiting on us. They were very friendly and kept up with our needs. They even always had strawberries ready for the little one.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The slides were fun, the kids pool area was very much enjoyed. The Zip Line was fun but is a bit short and only takes a few seconds. Central Park and the Boardwalk were nice to walk around as well as the promonade.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Columbus was interesting although there were technical difficulties, the show overall was an enjoyment. Some left when the issue occurred but seriously, the casino isn't that important. :-). We did go see The Fine Line which was a really nice show and I do recommend everyone should go and see it. The Ice Skating was also an enjoyable show. Overall, the shows are highly recommended when cruising on RC.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
The children's area was neat. The glowing sock show was interesting. I did not go but there was an enjoyable conversation when the little one and her family returned. They did tell of a guest holding spots and just before the show started their entire family and friends showed up. This is NOT a RC issue but a guest issue .

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Across the ship, ALL of the ship's personnel were very friendly and it showed that they care about the passengers. Putu, our stateroom attendant, along with the others on our deck always greeted and wished a good day.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It is almost as though when something falls on the ground someone is there to pick it up. Throughout the ship, everything was in order or someone was on it to get to it and take care.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The space and storage were awesome. Being able to go out on the balcony and just hang out was also very nice. We had family in the next room and opened the balcony between the rooms. This was nice for all of us to go back and forth.

Ship tip

Take your time but do be sure to go to the shows.

Ports of call

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
We did get off the ship and walk around some. The port is not very big and currently parts are under construction. Maybe by next year the port will be expanded. The pool area at the port was very nice.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
We did go on a private excursion to a beach which was very enjoyable. There weren't many people there which made it a very nice getaway. The Aviary was also a neat thing we did. It is a walk through from section to section with different birds for viewing. It also gives you a higher view of the area with parts of it being very scenic.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We have been to Cozumel many times and it pretty much hasn't changed. We do tend to leave the port area and walk the main strip with some shopping and sometimes conversations with the locals or other travelers.

Disembarkation

The morning of leaving, we went and had breakfast. By the time we were finished our number was called. From there it was almost a straight walk off. Very nice
