Definitely was not impressed with the food. Too much of the same not enough variations. Several times in the main dining room, food was lukewarm. I didn’t returning it because I didn’t want have to wait for replacement. Breakfast in the main dining room was slow to come out, spent an hour at breakfast. It was much quicker in the windjammer plus a better variety of food for breakfast in the windjammer. Desserts were tasteless, cakes dry. Lots of waste. Would try 3 or 4 desserts in one seating to find one that was worth the calories to eat. Ice cream was a good bet, can’t screw that up. Wait staff was excellent and very accommodating. Each night food was a different theme. Only night I would actually rave about was UK. Fish and chips and chicken mushroom stew were Great!! Chops grill the filet was good but not great. Baked potatoes were undercooked. Cheese tater tots tasteless. All dining rooms were clean.

Bathroom had a gosh awful smell. Thought it was coming from toilet. Nope, it was the shower curtain. Had room attendant change it out, that fixed the issue. One of our travel companions on 8th deck can’t recall room number had mold on their shower curtain. Had to ask their attendant as well to change it out. You would think that they would do that every cruise automatically. Disgusting!! Beds were hard had to request extra padding. Not great but was able to sleep. I’ve had better beds at a Hilton or Hampton hotel. Hair tie was left on hook in bathroom by previous guest. Paper clip was found on floor by desk. Makes me wonder about vacuuming.

Ship tip

If you get sea sick easily, wear extra sea bands. This baby rocked like crazy at sea. Had some really rough waters in January. Thank goodness I don’t get seasick easily.
