Great Gatsby Dining Room on Grandeur of the Seas

I had breakfast and dinner daily. Service and food was excellent. Plenty of choices. The staff took the time to make sure that we had everything needed.

Good food every night. Nino and Lalu were great servers.

Ritcheel, Putra, and Ketut were the best on deck 5! But Chops Grille could not cook a steak, burger, or shrimp correctly if given explicit directions! And look carefully at your wine glasses when you go to Izum! I had a filthy glass and was still charged for the wine (and the stuck on food did not make it taste any better).

Great food, great staff! The only complaint I mentionned was the way they handle "My Time Dinning". As per last time on the Mariner, same long line ups, the very first day all dinning allotments were fully booked for the whole cruise. Therefore, I had to queue to the "no reservation" line. After waiting sometimes up to 30 min. I was given a beeper to wait another 20 min! Sorry Royal, but after trying "my time dinning" on NCL, Carnival and Holland, they do way better. NCL are the best, cause it's freestyle dinning for everybody. Canival you can select on their app "have a table ready for me" and within max 10 min you get an answer and a table ready. Next time on Royal, I'll choose 1st seating. So for sure I will have a table.

Loved it here! Especially when the waiters danced for us.

Food was mediocre at best.

This was my first time doing my time dining. I think I prefer having a set time with the same waiters every night, who already know your preferences etc. Never less the food was enjoyable as was the variety of desserts. Things did seem a bit more harried for the wait staff than I recall in the past, but they all worked hard
