Review summary

Don’t believe reviews that it is a rust bucket. And, they are installing new carpet. We noticed several rolls of carpet stored at the front of deck 4. We loved this cruise.

This was our 13th cruise. Getting on was a breeze! Very efficient.

Food and Dining

We are vegetarians so had all of our meals in the Windjammer. A variety of options for us. The staff was very friendly and seemed to be happy in the Windjammer. The staff was also efficient.

Onboard Activities

The solarium was somewhat warm but a good place to relax if you experience stimulus overload from the busy pool deck. We avoid hot tubs but all of the pools were nice.

Service and Staff

All of the staff were helpful and friendly. Perhaps that’s a bonus with being on a smaller ship? Our room steward did a nice job and we appreciated the towel animals. The crew on this ship were the best we have experienced.

Very clean. We had an ocean view cabin The bed was okay. It seemed like an average sized cabin.

Ship tip

It is a smaller ship. If you have children review several ships. Some parents with young children thought there would be more for their children to do.

We stayed the night before the cruise in a Best Western Plus motel on Sea Wall Blvd. Close to a Walgreens for last minute items. We spent the morning on Steward Beach. A nice start before getting on the cruise around 12:30.

Took a cab to the beach. Went to Big Mamas beach area for a few hours. Had a couple of beers and enjoyed the warm water. No issue with sea grass. There was a fence in the water to keep the sea grass out. Water deep enough for swimming.

Very fast. Took our own luggage off. We travel light.
