Review summary

We have Cruised often, and a lot with RC (will be Diamond in 2020, and have already booked another 7-Day Grand Suite for June back on Liberty again. This trip was a kind of impulsive decision, having sailed in a grand Suite aboard Harmony just this past June. We were apprehensive that the little, old, Enchantment would be disappointing after the marvelous Harmony, but were amazed that this cruise was as good, if not better, than that one this past June. As always, RC came through with an amazing time for us.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Not quite as smooth as Suite Expedited Boarding ususlly is, but not too bad.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Pretty good, but not as good as Harmony, Liberty or Navigator

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There wasn't all that much to do, but it is a fairly small, older ship.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
One Production Show was fair, but the other was really good, The Comedian was OK, but the Whitney Tribute singer was amazing!

Children's Programs

No kids (just celebrated our 50th Anniversary aboard Harmony in June.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent Suite Attendant, fantastic MDR and Concierge Club staffs, great Loyalty Manager and excellent Guest Services team.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Surprised how roomy it was after sailing the Harmony three months ago. Comfortable "ride", too. Although there was some exterior rust visible on this 20-year-old ship, the interior was amazingly well kept, and the decor was very classy. Was expecting it to be comparatively disappointing. It was not.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
As good, if not better, than any other ship we've been on.

Ship tip

Don't worry about its age or smaller size -Despite worrying about it since it was all we could get sailing from Galveston (short drive for us).on short notice, we were VERY comfortable and had a wonderful cruise.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

3 out of 5
Departure port, not a far drive from home.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

4 out of 5
Nice and relatively clean, but didn't have too much going on - must be relatively new (judging from its excellent pier)

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Been there many times and seems to have been cleaned up a lot in the past year.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Suite Priority debarkation was good - off and on the road in no time.
