Enchantment of the Seas

3 Night Bahamas (Port Canaveral Roundtrip)

Sail date: April 01, 2016

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

Cabin type: Inside

Cabin number: 2051

Traveled as: Singles/Friends

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Review summary

The age of the ship is very apparent as many amenities no longer function properly and it has an odor of mildew.  Room 2049 & 2051 had several problems such as the a/c unit not cooling adequately, an electrical problem preventing use of the outlets to charge and/or use styling tools, and toilet was difficult to flush.

Additionally, the food in the main dining room was less than average. From the sit down breakfast to dessert after dinner, disappoint was the only thing consistent with respect to the food and service. Plus there was no option to get food 24hrs.

I went on my first 7-day cruise with RC last summer which set the bar high for this 3-day. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like all RCs are managed and maintained the same. Overall, this ship is in need of a massive overhaul otherwise, it's time to retire dear old "Enchantment of the Seas."

Every activity on the island was nickel and dimed. The food was gross.
