Review summary

This was my 1st cruise with Princess and I loved it. The service from everyone was great, all the staff work so hard and always smiled and greeted you warmly. I found it hard to always hear the Captain's message if I wasn't in a main area. But I enjoyed all the historical information he gave. I love the medallion , making everything for purchasing to going on/off ship so easy. All in all it was all good except I came home with an awful cold, (I will be fine)

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The service and food in our dining room, Davinci, was superb! I did not visit a specialty restaurant. The buffet was good , I would have liked some heartier soups, they were mostly broth.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Shows, Trivia games , Activities in the Piazza, Lounge entertainers, 50 and 60's night and the various speakers in the theater

Entertainment

Fabulous! Loved Reuell especially.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our dining room staff was wonderful, particularly Alessandro, Arnold (best waiter EVER) and Iwayna(?sp). That dining room was always such a fun place to be , the waiters really made you feel special and the food was DELICIOUS!! Loved the room steward Imade. There was a wonderful young waitress in the Explorers Lounge, Jacinta, who seemed to wait on me each time I was in there, she was very sweet and accommodating. And who could forget Callie? I never saw one person with so much energy, he seemed to be everywhere at once, he was kind enough to speak with you any time you engaged him. Last but not least was Santiago, what a ball of energy! always friendly, a little goofy and a good way and very engaging to talk to.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Yes, the cleaners were ever present tending to things

Cabin / Stateroom

It was a nice large cabin. The beds were comfortable. We got a leak in the sliding glass door after a lot of rain. It was reported to the steward and some nice young man came to fix it pretty quickly. He sealed it as best he could since it was still raining at the time.

Ship tip
