Review summary

Really enjoyed being away for 10 days. Very relaxing. We missed one day in Bermuda because of tropical storm Alex but we gained the day in Charleston. Her to be safe than sorry. Also had Covid by the time we got home. Wish we would’ve worn our masks.

Ship experiences

Onboard Activities

There isn’t much to do, but that’s exactly what we wanted to do. My husband is quite tall and the one pool is quite deep, so it was nice and quiet in the middle. The pool is salt water FYI. Trying to get a chair by the pool is a beast.

Canyon Ranch Spa

Experienced an excellent full body massage and facial from Jess. Excellent job!

Entertainment

We loved the female impersonator. She had an incredible voice and many of the onboard musicians were enjoyable and entertaining. But, we did not enjoy Matt Yee. His comedy was not our style at all. The celebrity band was amazing.

Service and Staff

Excellent! The crew seemed happy, and that made us happy.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This is a midsize ship so it’s not too difficult to get around. Fun in the front, food in the back.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Typical inside cabin. There is some noise from the upstairs restaurant which the first night scared the crap out of me because it sounded like the ships engines misfiring. However, by the second night I realized what it was and got used to it. Next time I would choose deck eight instead of nine. However, it was extremely convenient for going to the restaurant and the pool deck.

Ship tip

Wear your mask even though it is not required. Expect the entire ship to be full as rules have changed and they are no longer sailing at reduced capacity. If you are a guy and you’re tall and you go into the restroom next to the solarium pool, watch your head! Have two lobster they’re delicious. Don’t miss out on the cheesecake it’s amazing.

Can’t get enough of Bermuda! It’s amazing

Charleston, South Carolina

Very hot, quaint port. Don’t miss the market (Charleston leather, and homemade soaps where among our favorites. Woven grass bowls, although beautiful, seemed extremely overpriced). We went to the aquarium and really enjoyed it. We also took a cheap taxi ride around the bay- great deal and easy to use.

Disembarkation

Very easy and carefree. We had the ship take our luggage to the dock for us. Customs was extremely speedy and efficient.
