Review summary

They need to have mechanical opening doors on handicapped bathroom doors and on the 10 deck going from elevators to solarium pool area where they had huge heavy full glass manual doirs that you would have to open yourself, hold open and drive your Powerchair through. These doors were heavy for a strong big guy like myself to do. Was impossible for my wife or anyone of age to do themselves. Huge problem

Food and drink was second to none. Been on many cruise lines and experienced the food and drink on all. Celebrity Cruise takes NO BACK SEAT to ANYONE when it comes to food and Drink. As Tina Turner sang... Simply the Best!!!

Onboard Activities

For the most part activities on the ship were good but they tried closing the pools way to early like 8 PM or 9PM each night. I would not go for that and thus stayed in the hot tub til i was teady to come out for by the time we go to dinner and ate, then go to the room to change for the pool and get up on deck for that, it was already 8-830pm and they shortly would come to close the pools and hot tubs but i refrained from removing myself and nicely told the attendant to close all other pools you want but im in this one til im ready to come out

Guest Relations And Excursions

Guest relations was truly amazing. They took no time in rectifying any issue you may have had. They were great

Entertainment

Was ok not as good as some other cruise lines such as Royal Carribean but it was ok. Had great piano band in Rendevous Room, also great Dance Time in the Sky Lounge on 11th Deck where it rocked till late night early morning. Also a couple of Pool Deck entertainment during the day and at night. So was good. But not the best. Was good enough for me though

Children's Programs

Went on cruise with no children of our own. But apparently was good activities for kids for didnt see many of them unless at dinner

We had handicapped room 6005 and was wonderful. Great room, great care from Attendants and clean as could be

Ship tip

Well as great as the ship was.glass doors had to be opened by ourselves as we drove through the door without the possibility of breaking the glass. This is a huge problem and was brought to the attention of Service D Just need to use mechanical doors at handicapped bathrooms, also our room was in front of ship and our elevators were in from area. When we would go to the pool deck on the 10th deck we would. E stuck having to go through Huge Glass doors that were not mechanical and had tk bAnd it was great. The thing it lacked was my wife and i both are in powered wheelchairs and get around the ship and on and off the ship using them, all of the Handicapped listed bathrooms did not have Mechanical Door Openers. Do we would have to use one hand to drive amd control our Powerchair and use other to physically open the doir for us to go through which was very difficult for the doirs are all high quality and very heavy to open especially for my wife or anyone that would be senior citizens or older aged. Was very good except for the porter who took our bags out to our handicapped van was mean for i had to take time to use vehicle lift to put both our Powerchairs into vehicle before we could load our bags but takes me a little time to do. So he got pissed off dumped our bags onto walkway and went back into port to help someone else and left me to go get bags off walkway myself and lift and load them myself into vehicle. With no help whatsoever from him. And he was well tipped beforehand to help us too. So that was the bad of it
