Review summary

Despite a few things we didn't like this was a great cruise which we did not want to end. This was our first time in a suite and it, along with the service, was great. We'd do it again. Wish we could have done 10 days,

Embarkation

Mostly Quick and easy. Some signage for Suite class was confusing however,

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Luminae (suite class) restaurant was great as was room service. The two times I wanted something from the buffet it was closed (normal daytime hours)

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Spa sucked. Entertainment average or below. Fitness center was fabulous, pool was great.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Not something one wants to see again. One performer lost a toe when elevated portion of stage crushed it,

Children's Programs

Gues, no children maybe?

Service and Staff

Top notch

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Generally good but Solstice is ready for the rejuvenation process.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
2146 is an aft, corner cabin. Size was fine and location fantastic

Ship tip

Go for the views and excursions - not the entertainment or children's programs

Canadian law required All parts of the ship to close down while in port (Shops, only 1 bar per deck, no entertainment, ... )

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Last off ship since we were staying in Seattle 1 more day. Therefore luggage was easy to find. Customs was a breeze.
