Review summary

This cruise was a sampler as we will be returning next year for an 18 night cruise tour. Thoroughly enjoyed the cruise and excursions.

We always enjoy eating in different dining areas around the ship - our suite entitled us to dine in the Luminae restaurant and the food and staff were superb.

Michael's Club

Our Michael’s Club concierge, Aleksandra was brilliant.

Tuscan Grille

We received a free dinner at the Tuscan Grill and were glad we didn’t have to pay. Food was underwhelming and ingredients didn’t seem to complement each other. Annoying that mains did not have vegetables and they needed to be ordered separately. Disappointed that diners chose to wear jeans and runners, etc rather than dressing up. Not very special.

Onboard Activities

We enjoyed trivia and all the games onboard.

Entertainment

Stage shows were fantastic and performers were talented. Disliked some of the musicians playing/singing in bars etc. shouting rather than singing made for a painful experience.

No complaints here, room well cleaned, Butler always ready to lend a hand and other ship personnel were always helpful and pleasant.

Ship tip

Don’t go on too many excursions, save time to walk around and explore on your own. Excursions were very expensive and many changed itinerary or didn’t deliver what they promised,
